I know this is a bit late but sure was a nice ride ...
Sunday 4-17-11, met up with some midlands Valk riders, Titan, Doug and my self headed out in search of the last public owned covered bridge in SC.
West on foothills highway 11 and down a few nice back roads is the neat old bridge.
Really neat construction ...
Then Titan led us on a nice back road trip thru Tyron, Saluda and over Saluda Mountain to Hendersonville, NC. Some nice curves and scenery along the way. Crossed over I-26 and past Bat Cave to Chimney rock.
Had another unknown Valk catch up just prior to town, anybody from the board ?
Had a nice pit stop in the icecream shop along main street before heading back south. A great time had by all !!!
