That & the notion that it's our fault this is happening to us. Heard a greenie on TV the other day say it was global warming causing the storms & we all know that's from driving our SUVs.

I hate to play the Bobbo here, but...
Article about the storms on Al Jazeera:

Article from Pravda in Russia:

Article from the BBC:

Here's even an article from France 24 about how the storms are NOT from Al Gore:

As far as foreign aid, I don't know if any has yet been offered, but I recall during Katrina it was offered and we declined it. Do we REALLY want foreign troops (That's usually the form that kind of aid comes in) descending on the deep South?

What cha bet we would out arm them????? Down here... we pretty much pick our selves up.. and take care of our own... at least that's the way it has been as long as I remember....but then...... I still see blue tarps on houses from Katrina....what are they waiting on???? ...Not everyone falls in the same ball of wax....
