Well, many would say they had no breakdown in any warranty period that would make a warranty worth it.  Some have and were glad they had the warranty.

My advice....be glad you have it, I mean you already paid for it........enjoy.  However, if something breaks and the Dealer fixes it, demand they also fix all the things they tear up fixing the original problem and REDO (or at least recheck) all their labor, they cant be trusted to do it right.

Especially the rear wheel and drive.  If a dealer worked on mine and I wasnt right there watching, Id remove all them brand new parts they installed and put them back on myself

Hummmm.       I bought my bike new in 97 and never heard of this insurance.  Back then I could get 3 or 5 years on top of the regular warranty.

Sounds like it might be something he sells to make more $$$$$ IF, you never use it.........    In other words, an after market policy.    Kind of like ya hear of on TV for your car, truck, boat or what have ya.

Me, I'm skeptical of them after hearing the service writers at work trying to recover costs on those vehicles that have them coming in for service.   I've seen this dealer I used to work for write off after fighting and getting no where.   They always got prior approval before the work started, and then still got snookered.   Finally the dealer told his customers he would not honor their insurance, he gave them the reason why and they left, some came back later after they figured out the insurance was screwing the dealer around.       One of the guys was a real good friend of the owner and one hell of a good trial lawyer.       He got them banned from selling the insurance in this state and they had to refund 50% of what the policy holder had paid for the policy.    Kind of win win situation.
