Hi guys
I thought I would drop in to say hi. I had back surgery two weeks ago and am in therapy now Cheesy.
I had two bulging disk, they went in and trim the bone away from the nerves.
I was wondering if anybody out there had done the EC T. modification. I'm thinking about doing the electronic modification to try to increase the midrange power and mileage. I'd like to talk to someone that has done the modification before, just to see exactly what they thought about it. I should be able to get back on the bike in about four weeks and am looking forward to riding again.

I just finished mine, but I would be interested in other members experience with how it made a difference.  I added the pot for adjustment, but haven't turned it on since I got it going.  I purchased the buy used and need to look a the trigger wheel to see if its stock before I start messing with it.  It seems to be a cold natured fat lady so I am wondering if they didn't swap out the trigger wheel already.  I'll be keeping an eye on your string.

I did it on my bike when i first got it, only because it seemed like a good thing (translate   Evil couldn't hurt anything) to do and it was cheap enough. After 40K miles I don't think it makes any difference. When we where at the RLAP in Houston on April 2 I had to turn it off because without it the bike is easier to control at slow speed. There was a reason Honda made it stop after the engine warms up. I also found that my bike runs not as lean when it's turned on at 50 mph. Every bike seems to run slightly different and you may have better results.

My conclusion and personal opinion: I shouldn't have done it. Valkyrie that have a lean spot at rpm below 3000 may seem to benefit from it, but why not fix the lean spot and get better response, hp torque etc and mpg if you can keep from twisting that throttle.  Shocked Cool Grin Grin
