Sorry but I've got several.

"A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion,
butcher a hog, command a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance
accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give
orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem,
pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently,
die gallantly. Specialization is for insects."
Heinlein

Women should be obscene and not heard.
Heinlein again.

"MOLON LABE" ("Come and take them")
- Leonidas of Sparta 480 BC

"An appeaser is one who feeds a crocodile, hoping it will eat him last."
Sir Winston Churchill

"Firearms stand next in importance to the Constitution itself.
They are the American people's liberty teeth and keystone under
independence. To ensure peace, security and happiness, the rifle
and the pistol are equally indispensable. The very atmosphere of
firearms everywhere restrains evil interference, they deserve a
place of honor with all that is good."--- - George Washington

"If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest for freedom, go home and leave us in peace. We seek not your council nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen."
- Samuel Adams

Mine sprung from necessity. My girls would step over something laying in the hallway or wherever, and do it for a month if needed before picking it up. So, I started gathering up their stuff they would leave laying around and sometimes just toss it in the trash. When finally asked about it I'd simply say...."don't make me point out the obvious." And just leave it at that. They grumbled about it, but in recent years I've heard it repeated in each of their own homes. Guess it worked!

"DON'T MAKE ME POINT OUT THE OBVIOUS!"

Or, for all the farmers out there: "Tighter than a bull's butt in fly-time."

How about: "Ugly as a mud fence."

Or: "Didn't know whether to wind his butt or scratch his watch."
