Work sucks _Let's ride

Went with the Goodyear F1 directional this time, ,the last two were yokahama S drives . The Goodyear has some real good traction ratings and the V tread looks great . Plus anyone that rides with me calls me "Chief Black Cloud " and it has really high rain tire reveiws. Gona head out in a few and put it thru some Wolf 1910 testing of my own. Wish me luck....Hopefully I won't die a firey death by running another car tire...LOL

Well just did about 70 miles....some twisties, ,100 mph or so on big road , some cruising ,  so far this seems to be the best tire I have ever ran on the Valk.

Does look like a good tread. Wonder if it's as good
in the snow as a Triple Tread?

I LOVE the feel of the DS tires! I have over a half million miles on bikes, of all sorts, with all sorts of tires. But, I really like the DS tire I am riding nowl. reminds me of the old RS50 BMW I used to ride...you had to handle the bike, not vice-versa...

I'll take the CT over the MT, any time...

As of today-i've put about 160 miles on my General Ultimax HP 205-60-16 H speed rating. I'm liking it very much. Haven't got onto the serious twistys just yet. Cotton pickin rain had me back in the garage after about 60 miles. Went thru a rutted sweeper close to the house here. Posted 45-tried 65 the first time-doubled back so i had a right and then a left. Did it the second time about 75 and it hung right in there!! Uless it spits me off and i die a flaming death. I guess darth vader got his hand in this. Color me convinced. Just f y i-metzler 880 front. Rear air pressure at 44 psi front at 42 psi. Will update again when i get over 1000 miles on the setup. RIDE SAFE.

Just go ahead and get it, Alph! Your spare wheel is sitting in my basement all polished and waiting for you to go to the dark side!

That same Altimax is what I have on both my bikes, Alph.  So, you have ridden alongside one!  Like them.

Hey Wolf! I'm about to put on my last avon that's been sittin in my garage and after that, I'd like to try that Goodyear. Can't seem to find a size comparison with the mc tire for a change out. What size am I looking for? thanks!

Mike....  You can run the 205/55/16 ....you will have about 1/8 clearance on the driveshaft tube and I had already cut off the nutcage on the right side several years ago....you will need to remove yours to give clearance .
