Germany, Korea...

As much as we went them all home, there is still some work to do over there. I am sure that this will speed things up a bit.

IMHO

A friend of mine at work is heading back over for his 4th tour...

Because of the fanaticism of the people that we are dealing with the war on terror is far from over.

But, it cannot hurt that we have cut off "the head of the SNAKE".

Like the Hydra, to be replaced by two others?

Germany, Korea, Japan and now the US is in negotiations with Iraq to install a major, more permanent base of operations in Iraq. We will always have a substantial military footprint abroad.

I think we should put a shoot on sight order for all terrorist activity.  Like the shoe bomber and the underwear bomber.....shoot dead on the spot! That might stop some of the domestic idiots from being brave and trying anything......no trial, no Gitmo.......just go talk to Osama, tell him what a great job you tried to do

The problem is they don't care about getting killed, so it won't be a deterent.  I think we need to take it a step further and stop honoring their religous beliefs.  If they would have sewed osama's head on a pig and visa versa and stuck them on a pike, side by side and let them sit until the scavengers were finished with them, rather than honoring their belief that the body must be buried in 24 hours, perhaps that would have an effect.

Or not, I really don't care, as long as they are out of commission.

I think the domestic ones are less likely to want to die, I think they have a delusional belief that nothing will happen to them, that they will be heros or something.....like when dorothy melted the wicked witch in the "Wizzard of OZ"
