airfare and gas would be cheaper then what I've seen for shipping.  UHaul rents motorcycle hauler for 250 for 3 days.  Last time I checked on shipping it was 650, but that was 2000 miles, I'm thinking most of the money is in equipment/container vs mileage.

Don,
I'm trying to remember the shipper I used when I bought my Valk, they specialize in piano and motorcycle shipping, very professional.  They have a distribution point in Elizabethtown.  They will do home delivery but, I chose to go to E' Town and ride my bike back home.  They were also very reasonable in price.  Dang it, getting old sucks.  I'll do some research and see what I can come up with.

I think these are the folks I used.  http://www.keyboardmotorcycleshipping.com/

Thanks guys, for the come-backs. After talking to the seller I`m in a "not feel-good mood" about spending my money with them. I guess I`m a pickey SOB. But HEY, I`m poor. Wink

We can ship your motorcycle in one of our enclosed trucks for a total cost of $325.00 These trucks are brand new and have the capability of carrying six high end cars along with up to two motorcycles. Each of our enclosed trucks is customized to hold motorcycles, therefore we do not have to crate the bike or even drain any fluids. Simply put, you will be very impressed with the shipment and how your bike gets handled.

Thanks TP. I just testing the waters at this time. I know it would be hard to land a Valkyrie as nice as yours but one can think about it once in a while.  Roll Eyes
I must say you are top notch VRCC and I think that all should be as nice as you. Now, do I get some KUDO`s or what ever.
Thanks for your friendship.
