Just got back from the doc and she said I am banned from riding for the next 3-4 weeks due to rib injuries.  Since she then called the wife to make sure I didn't circumvent her again, I guess this time it sticks. police

This was due to a nasty fall (non-valk related) onto the same side I injured at the RLAP (valk-related).  Guess it's time for the walker.  Hey Disco, you still got the Walkyrie? uglystupid2

Oh, well - always some maintenance to take care of until then.

Bummer, RM!  See what can happen when you go to the doctor?!  I don't have the Walkyrie.  It was a loaner from Lemondrop.   angel

(the Tourer is lighter and less top-heavy than your Interstate!  Just sayin'.)

Wow, sorry to hear about that.   Hope you heal quickly.  I was looking forward to seeing ya again at the next get together.  Take care of yourself.  I have never had to much love for docs.   Angry

Sorry to hear that RM, +1 on that's a bummer. .......Does this also mean no more rain for a while?  If so I better plan me a few rides the next few weekends.

Thanks for all the good wishes.  You are all making be feel much better (although it might be the drugs). coolsmiley

Have the I/S apart and wiring in the 4 way flashers (rattlebar's wiring version) and the trunk lights as signals/brake lights.  Then I'll wire in the 12v fuel cut-off valve, pull the rear wheel, put in the new super dampers from Gary, put in the new super shock bushings from Gary, drain the coolant, replace it with new stuff, put on my new radiator cap with the temp gauge in it and look for other things to fix while it's apart.

New front tire is coming in this week although it's not yet needed.  Avon has a $25 rebate on the Cobras until May 15th so it seemed a good time to put one in stock.  Rear tire only has 32K on it and not near the wear bars.  Will take a closer look and may change that out before Inzane.

So, I'll be busy fixing and TJ will be busy riding since there will be no rain for the next 3 to 4 weeks. cooldude

Hmmm..... where did I put those pain pills.......

You know, with all that ethanol in the gas these days, you can't let it sit too long without riding it. I'll be in FW in a week or so to visit with my Son, maybe I can come over and exercise it for you. I promise, I am a good slow rider and I promise to not put over 300 miles on it in a day and not keep it for more than a full weekend.

Get well soon.

If you are riding  and it is a must that you keep your eyes on the road, you are riding too fast.

RD, I think it will be spread all over the garage for the next couple of weeks.  But if you can tell me when you visit your son, perhaps we and our other riders in the DFW area could share wind with you!

I think I might need it since I seem to have an issue with standing and walking.  I really need a large inflatable suit so I don't hurt myself.   Cheesy

Don't really need it right now, but thanks for the offer, Jean.

If the spousal unit wasn't in on this, I'd do just that.  I only see the doc when I want to but the iron skillet is on daily display. Shocked
