Just curious what the in-the-know crowd think about this.  Is there more value to a Valk if it was one of the say, first 50 ever made.  If you factor in a maybe 5% no longer exist number and assuming they began with 1 (which Mother Honda keeps, if not more) there are 45 of the original 50 still out there.  Wondering what y'all think.  Feed back please.  Blessings  Woody

Nope.  Only makes a difference to the owner.

I think mine is more valuable since they got all the bugs worked out by the time my 2000 I/S came down the line......... Evil

No, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Someone may think mine is more valuable because it is newer and willing to pay more for it than an older one. Unless they are some kind of collector, they will not care about it being first or second, some just look at mileage whether it be first or second.
Others think everything they own is worth a pot of gold anyway.

If you are riding  and it is a must that you keep your eyes on the road, you are riding too fast.

You might have been able to get some folks to spring for a fuel top off or cover your meal in a serial number competition for "lowest number" if you hadn't shown your hand.  Smiley

My '97 was number 216 off the line, probably after lunch the third day? Made for a good conversation starter. The real advantage is your bigger carbs! Got Interstate carb springs installed yet? ~Jeff
