Does anyone have an opinion good or bad, for mounting a 205/60/16 Michelin "XSE" darkside?
Thanks.

Asymmetrical tread is not optimal.
Symmetrical is better (like the Hydroedge)

The first darkside I tried was a Goodyear American Eagle I purchased at Wal-Mart for $75 that has similar tread to the one you are looking at. I didn't want to spend a lot while trying to decide if a car tire was for me. I had no trouble out of it and have been a darksider ever since.

Thank you guys for responding.
I went ahead and mounted the Michelin with no problems on the fit. It seem to ride well. A neighbor who owns a tire store let me have it for $50, so I figured it was worth a shot. He's still looking for a Goodyear Triple Tread for me and I may change this one out later.
