I bought my Tourer from my best friend's cousin in CO.  he runs a very large flea market in Colorado Springs (4000 people there today).  he sent me a pic of this helmet he saw today (Medium is too small for me, XXL, big head).  I told him to get it and ship it out to me.  Ever seen this helmet??

OK, he got it for me for $15.  Worth that much just to put on the shelf next to bike in garage.

i recognize the helmet....HJC half helmet....i have a few of those...including one in black. recognize the emblem of course. At first i wondered if it was the actual chrome covered plastic emblem sold to go on the backrest....but figured it probably wasn't as it would be hard to make it curve around the front of the helmet like that. So you say they make that in a sticker too eh..........

I'm not sure that is the same sticker in the e-bay add. Compare them side by side, looks different to me? It's also 8" wide? I have the same helmet and measured, the one on e-bay would take up the whole front of the helmet.
I'm with RedValk, looks identical to the chromed plastic small badge sold for the backrest. If anyone can confirm sticker or no sticker and where to get it, I'd sure like one.
Donaldcc...You got a great deal on the helmet, looks great cooldude

helmet is on way.  i also ordered 3 of the decals from ebay just to see what they are like.  i'm sure they can take up space on shelf by the helmet.  Roll Eyes

yep....i put that emblem on my sidecovers...and it's HARD to do....even with the slight contour of the side covers. I would think you'd have to heat it up and bend it to get it to fit the curvature of a helmet?

Beautiful Valk, geat photo cooldude You used to be able to get those from Cruisercustomizing and also HDL. I did't see them on the HDL site? Maybe discontinued, like so many other Valk goodies?

DonaldC,
Whats the verdict? Did you get your helmet? Is it a sticker or an emblem? Do you know where I can get some?
Thanks,

Anybody know where I can get my hands on this decal? I spoke with the owner of the helmet, it came with the helmet and it is not an emblem. I've exhausted every search I'm aware of and can't seem to find it. It's between 4"-5" wide, fits perfect on the front of your lid.
I've seen many other variations of Valkyrie stickers, I really like this chrome looking one. TIA   Wink

Doug, I ordered some decals from http://www.eastcoastdecals.com/ on Ebay.  they were delivered from www.artisticsignco.com.  I tried calling their number to see if they have a smaller one like on the helmet but got a recording.

The one on the helmet is 4 1/2 ".  The ones I got are 8" (sitting in front of the helmet).  I see they have others on Ebay that are 18".  they would probably make some up or may have them already and I would like the small size also.  Will try to contact them again later.

I sent them an email as there was only voicemail at their telephone number.  I asked about the 4 1/2" decals that can be applied to helmets as pictured with adhesive or however they are applied on the back of the decal.

If I get a response, I will repost to see who wants any and how many.  cooldude
