Not sure if spelled Trubadors right or not, but nevermind.

Hillbilly Twister was a good ride. 279 miles(NOt Bad for about 80% of the time was spent in  a  curve)

Fun, food and fellowship.

Started out in Clinton, Knoxville and ended up to meet Jeff Smith  (Mad Dog), Ronnie Norman(NORMAN DOG), Bill (BILL), Wimp(Wimp), Gordon(LUCKY13) Greg(GREG).

Went to Hot Springs, NC a quaint little historical town, nestled in the Appalachian Mountains.

Dixie Highway is the road that leads to Hot Springs.

There picked up the 5th Valkyrie of Ronnie Norman.

Obviously Ronnie was in a loving Mood.

I asked Mad Dog for his last Chicken Wing as you can tell by his exspression the answer was no.

What a difference a little BBQ makes, he is happier now.

Hillbillys everywhere today.
e

As I said 5 roads of fame today, including Hwy209 in NC, Dixie Highway, Maggie Valley to Cherokee, Hwy 28 The Hellabender, Then the Dragon. Threw in the Foothills Parkway for good measure.

Cops were hopping, today, Tn. Highway Patrol, even the National Park Rangers got in on the act, but no tickets, but they could have nailed me if they had felt Froggy.

In Honor of Smokin Joe who is working 7 days a week, The Money Shot.

This is Lucky 13's bike, a nicer Valkyrie specimen, you will not find , low miles and perfect. Oh yeah a feller I will mention also, God's Handiwork in the Backgound.(I Know some of you don't believe in a creator and that is OK)Just like to give credit to who I think it belongs to.

Great ride report Al... when your rides go down into Georgia, or way over to Hot Springs,
that's probably close enough for me to join up for part of it... here's a favorite picture of mine,
from a back road north of 40 on the way to Hot Springs...

narration too.  We are going to Cheaha on Thursday if the Lords willing and the creek don't rise.  Will be going somewhere in N.C. or Va. after that.  Called Gordon yesterday and warned him of our pending arrival.  Hope we can hook up sometime in the next couple of weeks for a ride.

Great report Big Al.  Here in the NE of Indiana we have at least two curves in a 50 mile radius.

Great riding country in the South!

THanks for the nice comments.

It was a fun day.

This was on the wall at the BBQ Place in Bryson City NC.

SO it should be OK to post here.

WImp found this 1975 BMW that was in really good condition, at Deal's Gap.

These were setting between the Two Gas Pumps at Deals Gap.
I have seen pictures of the "Older KIDs racing these in the Parking Lot after hours.

We got to Deal's Gap a little too late to see the Worlds Fastest Production cars from Buggati.

The CEO of the Company and his son both had one according to the witnesses I talked to.
At full song with the wing up and extended the tires only last about 15 minutes, at over 260mph.

I told MG one of the guys that works at Deals Gap that actually saw the Two Cars, YOU CAN"T HIDE MONEY, they liked that.

That's one reason I still brave the Gap is you never know what you might encounter at that place, it is world famous.

I like the Dragon too, but the last few times I've ridden it in the daytime, it was just too crowded with slow pokes and whizz bangers....I'll just have to keep riding it in the dark I guess....much less crowded...only passed maybe 6 bikes the last time at the FCR... cooldude

Take care of yourself Joe.

Them long hours can make a person accident prone.

They is always time to ride in the future.

Here's to you and all your crew, Prayers of Thanks, for all you are doing for, Elderly, Children, Hospitals, Doctors, Firemen, Policemen, all the households

that are without power, they would be there Thanking you if they knew what you guys were  doing.

But then again you just ride around and help people.

Ain't it true..
