What tires do you use?

One of my co-workers needs new rubber on his, he likes my E3's but it doesn't look like they come in a size to fit the 1300.

As a former VTX 1300 rider, I recommend Metzeler ME 880s.  Nice grip, even in wet conditions, not noisy and wear well (if you keep them well inflated; I ran 40 F, 42 R).  Have your bud do a thread search on the vtxoa and vtx cafe boards, but I'd say the Metzelers are the consensus choice.  DLP carries them and will do a price match.

i have the 1800 r model and i am lucky since it takes the same size as the valk.
