Well, it took some doing, but it fits. Falken Ziex ZE-512 205/65R-16. I haven't ridden it yet, but there it is. Fred.

I've got the same size on my Tourer. My rpms dropped by a couple hundred revs.

I'm just curious. Did you remove the back half of the fender to do the nut cage mod or was there another reason?

I removed the fender to do the nut cage mod, and to install the Electrical Connections run/brake light package into the signal pods (which will have to wait because I can't find the darn things).
Seeing that I had to remove the saddlebag supports to get at the shock bolts and caliper stop bolt (much easier than dropping the exhaust, which I didn't even have to loosen this way) and there's no way I would have gotten the tire under it, I will remove it for every tire change or spline lube. Fred.

The electrical connections turn signal mod was the first change I made on mine. I love the idea of keeping my amber turn signals intergrated with red running and brake lights. Much more noticable than the "Hog style" red blinkers. I think they are great.
On youtube, Dagg1520 shows an easy way to slip the wheel out without removing the exaust or rear fender half.
By the way, did you get your cookies or DS# ?

Cleaned the chrome after getting things tightened and torqued (how the heck do you get a torque wrench on the back 2 drive bolts?). Waiting for the bags at the painters and have to do the front tire and fork seals. Hope soon, or it will be winter again... Fred.

seen that video! it's the only way to remove a tire!! i use to remove the fricken exhaust pipes before i saw that video, one time the mounting bolts broke off and i had to weld on new ones, won't ever have to do that again!!
