Lifes too short Ride it hard

Grand Rapids Mi.

« on: May 09, 2011, 07:04:39 PM »

We had some beautiful weather this past weekend. Saturday enjoyed a wonderful ride and BBG in a park with around 40 or so other Valks.

On Sunday I went for a quick ride to Coopersville for a Hamburger for lunch. The town is the home to Del Shannon.

It is also quite dedicated to the preservation of the railroad. It is what pretty much built the town.

The video of the gals dancing is somewhat like the dance my girls and wife used to do when they saw a roach in the house. It would go running across the room and the girls would all start with the same...or similar, movements. Later to be labeled by them as "The Roach."  On my last visit to see them, I noticed they still know the steps when they see a bug, no matter the size.  Cheesy

I also noticed the maiden name of his mother was Mosher. We may have been distantly related on my mother's side, her mother was a Mosher(also maiden name) who had family originating in Michigan. Also noticed the name Leone, which is the name of an aunt of mine on the original Mosher side. Small world I guess, who knows.
