Click on "Advanced Search"

Put in what you want, then check "completed auctions"

There's an advanced search (or somesuch) button..

Once you mash that, you get a bunch of selections (near me, sold for at least, blah blah blah) including
"completed listings"...

If you check "completed listings" they make you log in.

Completed listing searches only go back about 1 month...

A couple of years ago the Hendersonville, NC Honda dealer told me he had a Valk
still in the crate in the back...

I searched, but the listing must have expired.  Could not find it.

Yea me too, I did the search but it must have been more than a month ago. There was a post on this site where guys were talking about it and how much it sold for but I can't seem to find it on this site either.

This one had 1300 miles. Don't know if the one you're looking for? Says it ended but not if it sold?

Here is the thread for it.

It was a California craigslist ad, 4/27/11. Stude31 posted with a link for several Valks for sale.

I contacted the seller on the 28th, told him I had a Valk and would love to have a 2nd one. There were already 2 guys ahead of me. I emailed the seller a day or two later to find out one of those ahead of me did buy it.

'97 Red/White with 91 miles, $6500

Story as told to me:

In 1997 a 72 year old gentlemen bought the bike new. He rode it home, 41 miles. The bike fell over and the owner could not pick it up by himself. He never rode it again. Sometime in March '11 the owner died. The bike was sold in an estate auction. The second owner (seller) did not tell me what he paid for it. I would have loved to know.

Second owner buys bike and takes it directly to dealer for new tires, fluids, carb work, etc. Supposedly everything it needed due to sitting for 14 years, was done. Second owner rides it home, 50 miles. Does not like it. He rides a R1 but thought he wanted a cruiser. He said he felt like he was riding a motorized, loaded wheel barrow. He stated I was the second guy looking for a 2nd Valk. He asked what is so great about a Valkyrie. I didn't attempt to explain. Owner said his asking price $6500 was firm, he wanted out of it what he had in it!

Now that I had to re-live this with you all again, I am kicking myself again & again & again.........
