Yesterday , Tuesday, I just finished servicing my Valk, new tires (dark side) brakes , suspension, coolant, and the necessity . cleaning and polish.  I had it running outside for a while to rechech my work. It was a beautiful day in Northeast Illinois, and it was time for the test ride.
About a half block into the ride there is a right hand curve with no shoulder or ditch. It is a dirt hill that gradully goes up to about five feet. As I got near, I saw over the hill, a Suburban hedging in my lane. Knowing the intelligence of some people, I stayed to the right as much as possible. and she almost hit me head on. She was fully in my lane. I could not see a reaction from the driver , but the passenger screamed.
I made a pannic stop , uttered a few choice words .  The driver never stopped to see if I was OK.
She just went on her way and didn't care.  It's not the first ,nor will it be the last. I can only hope that maybe she got a wake up call.
