You have heard by now, Werner, our friend from Germany has passed away. Very sad to see him go.

I pulled out the flag he brought to CHeaha...and the shirt he gave me at Cheaha. I'll have both of them with me as i go up the mountain today. they'll be on display during the event in honor of Werner....our friend.............

He was a great Guy, when I was trying to find a VRCC patch for the back of my vest, he sent some with Mona who was coming to the states to send to me. Even called me just to make sure I liked it. Said to send the money when I got it. Didn't know me from Adam and he went out of his way so I could get a patch.  Cry
Sure wish we could have met in person. Prayers for him and his family
