I need a battery for my standard, anyone aware of any deals?  I'll be looking, but hate to pass something up.

+1 on the Yuasa.  It was 9 (maybe 10) years old when I changed the original OEM out in 2009, just because.  I kept it and use it for some other 12V applications now.  Still holds the full charge 2 years later (I charge it up when it needs it).

Take a peek at flea bay. I get a kick when i look at battery warrantys that state from none to two years. In all the years ridin heard mostly good things about the longivity of the yuasa batteries. As the seem to last a really long time-how the heck do they stay in business?? When i sold my 73 honda cb-500 in 80 or 81 it still had the original yuasa in it. RIDE SAFE. And yes-still working and holding a charge.

+1 on Yuasa batteries.  Be aware that Interstate Cycle-Tron batteries are made by Yuasa.  I just replaced my battery, and after searching for deals online, I got the best deal from my local Honda dealer, after taking into account shipping, hassle-free recycling, etc.  After getting stranded with a dead battery (a Batteries Plus Chinese piece of crap), I also invested in a Kury battery meter, pretty nifty little accessory.
