that new J&M top cord came in yesterday, so I swapped them out....and I also needed to see if my re-plugging of the rear Avon was going to hold up....got some Ride-On in there for back up insurance...the first plugging attempt failed as it developed a slow leak....back tire only has ~4,000 miles on it....I hope to get another 4-5K out of it...have NEVER gotten more than 9,500 miles out of a rear tire(Avon)....I use Metz tires for the front(10-12K usually)....Metz's on the rear end have never given me more than ~6,500 miles..... Sad......

Anyhow, that's why I rode the bike to work today.....to check out the new cord(works super duper... cooldude cooldude), and the plug held up to a "buck plus"..... cooldude.....

the one problem I CAN'T get around though is WHY it only takes 5 miles to get to work and 50 to get home???...... Shocked Shocked Shocked........and those darn Dairy Queens keep jumping in the way...I think the Old Green Girl has been humped by a Golden Wing....... Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Long time ago when my 1973 cb 500 four was brand new-28 miles to work and more than once 200 to 250 miles back home. Go figure. Never could figure how livin in lake county illinois at the time got into indiana and wisconsin before gettin to the house. Goin for a short ride today only resulted in 147 miles being added to the clock on my i/s. RIDE SAFE.P
