that old 'chemtrail' post got me thinking.....

when I have downtime on the road I spend a lot of time on youtube watching 'paranormal' vids. you know Bigfoot, ghosts, loch ness monster, aliens, Elvis (just kidding about the king) more fun then the vids is the opinions of the buffoons the write comments on them. some of these people will never let go of their views even when proved wrong. I gotta say I think most of these vids are faked, probably at a rate of 95%, there are a few that make you scratch your head but dang few.

there was video that hit the internet in 2008 about the 'Michigan dog-man'  it was a hoax. filmed on a vintage super 8 camera showing only vintage vehicles and snowmobiles. basically he shot a home video in which something happens a 'creature' charges the cameraman and there is a flash of teeth (nothing in the frames before or after, so it was spliced in) and supposedly the cameraman dies. the creature is the cameraman in a ghillie suit, one of his kids is holding the cam. the gullibles trying to prove the veracity of the film ignore the spliced in footage.

he gave the developed film to a local DJ who runs a website dedicated to the dogman. the DJ didn't know what to do with it so he posted it as 'evidence' and gave it a back story that it was found by a third party in a box at an estate sale. the video went viral on the wacko websites and eventually caught the attention of a TV show called monster quest.  this made the DJ fess' up and hand over the film makers name and address.
