Obviously, no one else here in Colorado has it.
Don't be too sure of that iba1990. It happened to me in '89 in Illinois.
I had ordered personalized tags for my new Toyota SR5 4x4.
Please, no heat on this. I took enough, at the time, being a rank & file member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union. Who's BA's had hung a banner in the hall well before I bought it. That banner pretty clearly condoned damaging any imported vehicles parked in their lot. I parked it many times with never a problem though.
I assume it was out of respect for my work & that I shared my proprietary methods with apprentices.
Anyway, in a Chicago suburb of 45k, I knew about 80% of the LEO's. One night I was delivering some boxes as a favor to, none other then, one of the PD dispatchers home. She had given me a key to the garage.
While I was locking everything up a patrol officer was sitting at the curb watching me, I didn't know this one.
He took off. A few minutes later I'm surrounded on a divided 4-lane with guns drawn.
Long story short my plates were registered to a Chevy Blazer 300 miles down state.
Illinois had doubled issued the plates. Mine being the 2nd issue had to be surrendered and replaced. I lied that I had lost the front plate 4-wheeling. That plate, AKITA1, still hangs in my garage today.
Side note: Few dogs rate as well as Akita's. But then again breeds are a personal preference.
