Todd, my son, joined the Marines.   When he went to take the placement and physical exams, he was in a room full of candidates for all the military services.  Todd overheard someone near him say, “Aren’t the Marines just a department of the Navy?”  “Yes,” came the response.  “They’re the men’s department.”

My hats off to the corps though-as long as they were guarding the afterbrow-it NEVER got stolen. 2funny RIDE SAFE.

Why do they put Marines on Navy ships anyway?  So the squids have someone to dance with...

I respect EVERYONE who served, no matter the service or capacity.  It is all, hard, thankless, profitless work done by patriots one and all.  I thank you all for your service, be it war time, peace time, cooking, fighting, painting or writing paychecks.
