Nothing like mid spring and morel mushrooms. Oh should I say Nothing like spring, getting on the Fat Lady and then coming home and having a cold bveverage and morel mushrooms.

...Chili and I have been out 5 or 6 times in the past fews years...multiple locations. ....we have searched and searched.....closest we,ve ever come is a rusted out Old Milwaukee Beer can...which we placed a voltive candle in and use on the deck in the summer..

Man, morels rock. Looks like our season here is pretty well over. The woods has turned into a rain forest and even if they are still growing they are overgrown if you know what I mean. It was an abundant year for them here. Hope it's been the same elsewhere too.
