When I left for work at 7 this morning for Shreveport it was overcast but the weatherman said 60% chance of some light rain today. I didn't know I was going to still be at work at 9 tonight. I rode home through all the storms. I need to patent that ride before Disney steals it. At one point I thought I might should have tried out one of those adult diapers. 2funny Allright I have to admit it got bad enough to find an overpass for a while. Do you ever question your own sanity? crazy2

The funny thing is and I remember it well........... last time that happened to me I was in your neck of the woods and close to Schreveport. Let's see it was raining, 37 degrees and dark between 3 and 5 am   Evil in January at the start of my first IB.

My conclusion, there has to be something in the water, or with the water in E Texas.  cooldude cooldude

Yup...question my sanity almost every day... crazy2

Got into a bad one in Iowa last summer.  Went from nice to flooding, lightening and pitch black within minutes.  GPS stopped working, so I stayed slow and steady.  Couldn't see the road and almost rode off into a ditch -- stopped when my front brakes went under water.  Made it through, though!

Side note:  The Valkyrie OEM leather bags kept everything high and dry.  My high tech luggage made with the "water proof" high tech material failed.  Go figure.
