1999 Honda Interstate

Eastern Kentucky

WWW

Howdy from the hills of Kentucky,
Go word yesterday that my 99 Green/silver Valk interstate is ready to bring home. I took her to a local dealer to get the hydrolock repaired. When I went to pick up--radio and display did not work and was told  "you got electrical trouble and we can't fix".  Friends told me to take to Maysville and have her triked as I was two inches too short to hold her up.Took her in and told him to trike and see if he could find out trouble. Since it was late Oct. and I could not ride her due to winter coming.
Fast forward to last week---Three wiring harness used-F I N A L L Y found previous dealer had wired the starter relay BACKWARDS. All the power was being sent to ground !!!!
WATCH WHERE YOU TAKE YOUR PHAT LADY TO GET FIXED  !!!
Seven months of waiting-frustations=hundreds of phone calls-waiting much more-curiosity.
It can not be this complicated----IT WASN'T   WAS IT ?

THANKS TO ALL FOR THE ADVICE and comments.

Sounds to me like the stealer er idiots er wrench holders you get the idea. The fact that they did in fact wire it up back a$$ wards is no surprise. Not when i had a stealer tell me that they had to drain and pull radiator to change timing belts. Makes me wonder if they can even READ the fine maintenence manual that honda or clymer puts out. B T W i have both of those manuals-don't make me no expert-but i can read and most generally apply what i have read. Glad u r back ridin and out catching some wind. All that being said-have you learned anything from this?? Not being mean-seems like some of us have to have a bad moment or two thrown at us whether we need it or not.  RIDE SAFE.
