Hey Hog, don't know if you have ever been there but this is a very small rally with limited number of vendors, demos, or entertainment.  It is OK if you just want a day to hang out but IMHO not worth packing up the camping gear and spending the weekend.  I will say that it is very family frendly.

Yeah Doc , it would be a nice little day trip. i am going to hang out at the PGR booth some and ride in the parade Sat. it's not one of those stop and go parades. it goes around Longview nonstop about 15 miles.
