I noticed the other day i could hear my alternator 'whine' so to speak. I guess I mean I can hear it spin as the bike is started and at low speed. It is a new noise and that caught my attention. I had it out and serviced by a alt/starter guy. He said brushes were good and he repacked the bearings. It still charges good and everything. Is this something to be concerned about? I was gonna call him next week and ask but thought i'd run it through you all 1st.

Well I found the problem. Someone posted a few days ago about a buzzing tranny cover. I had the bike warming up so I decided to take of the alt side cover after removing one bolt and loosening the other, the noise went away!  Shocked It was the cover vibrating. I took it off and stuck some cork behing it and installed. No noise!
