Got this on a item I have listed on the VRCC Classifieds. Think i fell off the turnip truck last night? I said o.k, So maybe I'll get one of those Nigerian cks.  Then they'll be pissed because I kept their money. crazy2
Hi,
I urgently have bring something to your notice. I just found out that
my Assistant overpaid you. The payment meant for another transaction
was made out in your name and sent to you. However I want to believe I
wont have a problem with you on this. Once you receive the payment,
Please proceed to the bank and cash the Money order, deduct your money
and send back the balance to me. So I can proceed with arrangement for
pick-up. Once more, I hope I can fully trust you with this? I will
await your response on this so my mind can be at rest.

you can usually spot that kind of scam, simply by the lousy english!!  problem is, if you cash any check, you know it's fake, and you're the one getting investigated by the police!!

Oh, I know not to cash it. Had one Nigeria check on a item. His e-mails ended as God Bless when was trying to lear me in.. After I got the check (didn't cash) and didn't send him any money back he then started cussing me in his e-mails and  that I was a crook and kept his money .

You should frame that check and hang it on the wall as a reminder that the world is full of crooks and crazies.
