Another wrench party has come and gone. There were 10 of us. Jimmy the Hayhauler all the way from Houston, Valkpilot, Disco, Lucky1Chris,john,BnBTom,Christbiker,Stormrider65,jimnvalk, and myself. We got a lot accomplished. Stormrider went DS and the double row bearing mod, new dampeners. jimnvalk hopefully fixed the popping sound or at least we tried. Did we fix it Jim?  Undecided Valkpilot. front wheel bearings. Christbiker and VP did a lot of wiring on Woody's bike that was way over my head. laugh Disco did some things to his bike but he was so quick till i couldn't even tell what he did. 2funny  And John finally got his exhaust tips put on Smiley and his pet rooster ;)serviced. Theres was a few others happenings also, but just can't remember right now. Oh yeah, we all ate like a bunch of pigs. Smiley I ate like a Hog...  Cheesy
I want to say to everyone that was here that I really enjoyed the day and the fellowship. There was alot more important things accomplished today than turning a wrench.

I was going to post pics, but I had my settings on my camera set wrong and then I put them on a computer that doesn't have paint, deleted them off my camera, Just a big mess tickedoff I will get them to my laptop later and share. Going to bed now.

Thank you, Hoghead!  What a great day.  Up at 4:30am and Valkyrie/VRCC-centric 'til way past dark.  We got lots of things done.  I did air filter, screen set, and IS carb springs.  So much fun (and so much iced tea) I took the long way home and didn't get here until just before 1:00am.

If you happen to find a red Ray-Ban case with pair of yellow lens night glasses in it, it popped out of my LH jacket pocket at some point between leaving Liberty City and our fill-up at the Pilot some 40 miles later.  I was still so full from lunch & tea when we left that it might have fallen out in the yard or on the driveway.

Matt, you and your family are such good hosts.  I had a REAL good time. As a matter of fact, I had just about as much fun as one can with is pants on at the party.  hehe  Even though Disco, Stormrider65, and I all took ours off!

The ride home was a little hot, but I did stop more than I did on the way up.  I drank all 5 bottles of water that I had frozen the night before on the way.

I got home about 8:30 and went out to dinner with BJ for a bite to eat and relax.

Thanks so much for putting this on for everyone.  With all of these crazy bikers in your shop, I am really suprised that no one made it into the pool either voluntarily or "helped" into it..  Smiley

Pictures to come.....  Cheesy

Matt,  I thank you for your mechanical expertise and both you and your family for your hospitality and dealing with a bunch of bikers.  I learned so much this time out, with your guidance.  I feel more confident on working on Wall-E.  The tire feels great.  A lot more stable.  I didn't know it was so bright on the Darkside Grin.  Hayhauler, it was great to see ya again, even though won't help pay for some of the rent.  Wink. And in defense of my not recognizing youright off, I showed Lisa the pics and she didn't know who you were due to the intense glare and shining of the legs 2funny.   Valkpilot, thanks a lot for the dampners and the suggestions and help.  Momma, (Lisa, the boss coolsmiley) said thanks to everyone for letting me come by and play for a while.  I throughly enjoyed and learned, then I got to meet some great members.  The ride back was great.  I figured on my fuel mileage, even at the speeds I did coming out and then the return trip it was still at 32.7 mpg.  Man, I love this bike.  And thanks to everyone for putting up with me.  I had a blast.  Safe travels to all.  Be safe and God Bless us all.

Looks like a great time was had by all.  Sorry I missed it.  Stuck in Illinois for the weekend.

Still envious about that garage.  Hope to see it soon.
