No, luckily I wasn't on the Valk.  I fell from the top steps of my front steps at home to the concrete driveway.  On the way down I thought this not only is going to hut, I'm going to break something and ruin the Hillbilly Run!  My left hand from the pad around my thumb and my thumb is swollen and black and blue.  I have a huge rosebud on my left knee and twisted my left ankle.  And slightly sprained my wright wrist, but I don't think I broke anything.  I took some very strong pain killers and a sleeping pill and woke up Sunday around 10:30.  Very sore but I managed to get in a short ride to make sure I will be able to make the ride!  I missed a phone call from SmokinJoe to ride with the Wild Bunch Sat. night on the Dragon and another ride Sunday morning, but I wouldn't have been able to make those rides feeling as I did.  I sure hope he can make the Hillbilly Run.  Lookin forward to meeting a lot of people this weekend!

Aleve and drink lots of water. LOTS of water to help flush your system.

Applying hot and cold to the sprained /bruised areas will also help.

Was wobbly water involved?? Just yankin a chain dude. Had some interesting moments with my balance lately. So far no problems when i'm ridin. Recoolectin something here from awhile back. The bodys revenge or the bill finally coming due. Heal fast and make that ride. Let us know how this progresses. Stay safe. RIDE SAFE. Hopefully.

I was standing sideways on the thrid stair, Lois "asked" me to cut some weeds in the shrubbery, so I turned left to go down the stairs.  My left foot was trapped by a planter and kept me from being able to step down so I had to catch myself with my hands.  I was very lucky to only receive cuts, bruises and sprains from it all.  Getting older makes me realize I'm not as agile as I once was; but getting older isn't all bad.  The swelling and discoloration has improved a lot today.  I still hope to see everyone this weekend in Franklin!
