She's hot. I voted.

What about me?? What if I picked a girl that doesn't win? What is that going to do for my self esteem??

P.S. She's hot. I voted.

I voted.

Wayne, I can't believe you would want to steal away from my children the only thing they have going for them (and they've done well with it).  Seven of my eight children are beautiful, and because they were born in a poverty stricken, lazy, low self esteem family, that's all they had to go on.  I'm glad they've been able to play that card as well as they have.

I have pictures somewhere.  I ought to get them out and shame you for your prejudice.  Hard work, high intellect, strong determination, easy money and good looks; they're all equally important in the successes of life, don't you think?   Grin

I stand truly humbled.  Of course, I should have seen it... it is the photogenic that get to run this country, not the gals/guys with the brains.  Who have ever seen an ugly celeb?  Half of Sarah's votes come from those that would like to bonk her as a, no doubt, patriotic gesture.

And of course, with 'stars' like Miley Cyrus, Justin Beiber, et al, I realize I have seriously sinned.

UP with the hottest!!  And can we throw in a few folks that think investment banking is honest work?

Well, SE, that isn't the most moronic thing I have ever heard on the internet, but it's in the top 5.
This is a harmless contest by a RADIO STATION to win tickets for a concert.  It's not a life changing watershed event in her life.  I think with your hijacking of this thread you have sunk to a new low.  And, seriously, I didn't think that was possible.

You still don't get it, do you?  Your daughter is to be judged as "hottest".  What is that all about?  A society that cares more for the sexual objectification of women than promoting them as gender neutral individuals.  Can you figure that one out, PB?  This kind of contest crap denigrates women, turns them into 'hot' sexual objects to be voted upon by some dumbass radio/TV station that gives not a sh*t about values, but only about ratings... clearly you are one of those 'dudes' that digs 'hot' as opposed to celebrating our wives and daughters for what they are, not what they look like.

You are really off base... if anyone has sunk to a 'new low' it is you... failure to recognize this crap that is foisted amongst our young as 'normal'.

Really? Seriously??

If you wanna discuss the sexual objectification of women in our society, fine, go ahead, but please just start a thread about it instead of threadjacking one where a guy's just trying to get his daughter tickets to a concert...

voted for the young lady again,  cooldude

Didnt get dizzy looking at all the other pics since this time the site opened right up to your gal

Hope she gets the tickets and enjoys the concert.

SE, I am kinda dissapointed in you here.

For a man who prides himself on his reasoning and deep thoughts, tell me what exactly made you blow up at this simple contest for tickets?   Its out of character

When I ELFED you that got a laugh response why the vitrol here?  Voting for the daughter of a friend you havent met yet costs you nothing and gains something even if only virtual respect.

Believe it or not if you had posted for help on any contest at all involving your kids or kin  or needed prayers or help with the bike, most everyone would have stepped up to the plate for you, because its family here.

I better go back to work I am starting to feel like ward cleaver or the father in my 3 sons.

My neice was picked as one of the top 10 hottest 2011 grad for the Detroit Radio Show "MoJo in the Morning".

Will you please help her win by voting for her at this link   http://tinyurl.com/6xss9ep  Her name is Jacquelyn C. and she is wearing a white dress.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!

I voted again... Your niece looks like a sweet girl who will go places in the future.  Some of the things that you mentioned about what she does for others builds great character and empathy.  I tend to think she'll go places in life.

For SE... It seems you have no empathy.  (in case you don't know...it's the experience of understanding or "living in" the feelings or thoughts of someone else... sort of vicariously)

However... it seems you are chock full of apathy...  lighten up a little.  The girl does good things for people.  One small part of being "hot" angel cooldude Cool

You know your probably right, I just didn't care for your taking over this thread that a good friend of mine started. This girl is a good girl that worked hard, studied ,she spends free time helping others not as fortunate as herself. If she can win a "Hottest" contest then good for her, there are plenty of other causes you can devote your energy too. Oh and by the way I really don't have an opinion of you, you are entitled to your opinion which you stated and I didn't agree with.   Smiley

After reflecting on the replies to this post, I am not surprised at the support for  the young lady seeking the votes. Most of us here seem to be family oriented. That is a very good thing and sorely lacking in our society today.
I voted for her.
However, after thinking a bit, I have to wonder about her classmates who are not not in the contest. Is it because they: are not as pretty, or do not have family support such as she has? and I wonder, what about those girls who are not as pretty, who, for many valid reasons, do not do the good things she does, who may be a bit (or a lot) geeky, who may be overweight, who may have serious acne, who may not dress as well, who may not be as popular, or just not fit in, maybe they look "different". Maybe they are new to the town and have not made friends, maybe their parents are struggling just to get by?
After thinking about all this, I voted for all of the contestants and wish I could vote for all who are not.
I kinda think there are many here who would not have made the contest. Remember?
