there are 4 dealers who have one of these in the whole country and of course, they are all closed today. one in Ky, one in kansas city, one in new orleans, and the last is in Ok. i called all of them and the one is new orleans, had their phone disconnected(least the one I got.).
Hillbilly run is approaching and i finally got ol fataass back on 2 wheels and boy is she just as smooth as glass now, but when i got home, the hook pin broke and not, my kickstand wont stay up. hence, I can ride her.
I guess Ill have to wait til tomorrow to get one over nighted if they can.... if it aint one thing, its another...
A couple of years ago mine broke as I was leaving the driveway for a trip.
I went to the hardware store and bought a metric bolt that fit.
I used duct tape to make the shoulder for the bolt.
My temporary repair has worked so well that I keep forgetting to order a new one.
Also when you're calling around be sure that they are referencing the right part.
