While changing out exhaust pipes, I seem to have stripped one of the 12 exhaust studs on the right rear. Are these studs hard to get out and is #17 on the microfiche what I need to order? Does someone in the local area have one that I can buy. I have been down for about a month since I was getting the pipes ceramic coated and now this happens to me. I can't catch a break. Thanks for any help that you can provide.

I shot some WD-40 on the bolt and used some vise grips to get the stud out. I will go to Honda West tomorrow and order another stud. I don't think they will have that part in stock. Does anyone knows if #17 on the microfiche is correct for the exhaust stud?

I pretty sure it's 17.
I friend of mine broke a couple when he changed his pipes, they are pretty easy to break. Anyhow, Rockwall Honda happened to have them it stock.
We didn't even look at the microfiche, just went to the dealer and said we need some of these.

My brother once told me that breaking things is just part of fixing things.
Hang in there.

Yes, 17.  If you can't find them locally today, call Maxim tomorrow.  They often don't have what I'm looking for in stock, but did have the exhaust washers when I walked in.

How did the ceramic coating turn out?  Pics?

Dave,

I called Honda West today and they have some exhaust studs in stock. (My luck is changing). The pipes look pretty good (IMHO). I'll take some pictures of the exhaust on the bike when I'm done. Thanks for the concern and all of the responses.
