Mine skyrocketed after the storms in MI a couple weeks ago ... 40 bucks a day for generator gas! We were out 5 days.  |

Cap and trade is just ANOTHER form of wealth redistribution. Only the USA will tax its citizens based on the energy they use so the money can be redistributed, not in OUR country, but in OTHER countries to get them going more green. WHO COMES UP WITH INSANITY? We are already throwing Trillions away with our lopside trade agreements, low tarrifs, and dependance of foreign fuel. We have seen what these policies have done for OUR economy and employment, and they still want to go further with distributing OUR money to countries that couldn't care less about going green.
I'm sorry, but those behind this are NOT United States Patriots. They are people who wish to see this countries demise. I love when I hear that we use more energy than other nations who are bigger than us. Yes we do. Our poorest of the poor have a roof over their heads with running water, toilets, and electricity. Can any of those bigger countries like China or India claim this? NO THEY CAN'T. Their poor and poverty sticken live in squallor while 90% (I can't remember where I heard the figure from) of our citizens below the poverty level have at least one television and 60% own cars (from the same source that I can't recall). So yes, we do use more, but our citizens live an elevated life style in comparrison.

See, we dont have trash service where we live and have to take it into town to dispose of it.
