SIDE KICK STAND
«
on:

I recently had my 2000 IS converted to a trike.I have a drive on air powered lift that I had to alter for the rear wheels.........anyway during that circus....I let it drag & broke the little threaded stud that holds the kickstand spring....no big deal ? just remove the kickstand? Question is do I simply connect the two wires together as if the stand was up as the engin will shut off when put into gear I'me sure you all know? If so is there going to be a problem down the road?I'me asking before I go tampering with wireing I know nothing about. Thanks Harry

I saved this from an earlier post. I haven't tried it myself.
If you follow the wires up from the switch
you'll find a 3-pin green connector. Disconnect the
switch side of the connector. On the harness side,
jumper the green wire with the white trace to the
solid green wire. The bike will think the side stand
is up now. Use extreme caution as the bike will now
go with the side stand down!

Harry, I would be very interested in seeing photos and hearing how the conversion on your lift was done. I too have a drive on lift and a Interstate trike and have been trying to figure out how to use the lift with the trike. Are the alterations so that the lift can now only be used with the trike? Thank you for your time.

The lift will still work on a 2 wheeler as I have another Valk & my wife has a Kawa.(2 wheelers).Anway I can remove the conv. in less than 1 min. with 0 tools.I'll take pics & try to get some help to post them. This may work better with email for me? Or my cell is 713-299-7909. HARRY
