I put some on a few years ago and now they have turned a golden colour. I am not too pleased with them. They look nice...at first.

I think the golden color would look nice on my green/silver I/S, the silver has a slight golden hue to it. Fred.

Not until I started the installation did I realize that the existing aftermarket pipes are less than 4" O.D. ??? The original baffles are gone. So all we did was to slide them stacks over the existing pipes. Drilled two 1/4" holes and bolted them to the OEM brackets... into the stacks, reaching the mounting bracket nuts on the existing pipes. The entire job took us 45 minutes and two beers! Here are some photos of yesterday's show off... cruising through Griffith Park in Los Angeles. SUGGESTION: Set the Slideshow at the fastest speed (1 Second). https://picasaweb.google.com/103917731019176896112/GRIFFITHPARKOBSERVATORYAndMore?authkey=Gv1sRgCKrOsa6P1OS0cA

Speaking of Truck stacks, I also have them on my trike and love the look. But I really would like to quiet her down a bit. (You can wake up the dead in the early morning!)
At present, I have 12" glass packs inside the stacks. Is there anything I can add to the end to quiet her down more??

You can weld a 2" threaded coupling from your local hardware store to the output end of your glasspacks. Then you can get some threaded straight pipe and screw it in or out to suit your needs, quiet or loud. You can play with it even more to change the pitch by drilling holes. You could also go with a longer Glasspack? I know 18" is available. And of course...finish it off with Grumpy's tips

Get Grumpy's tips for your stacks, great workmanship and polished. They reduce the volume and sound great. He is on this board, user name grumpy. They are on mine pictured above. Hoser

Hoser I already have them Hoser. I believe they came in two different openings. Not sure what the diameter was. All I know is that I have the larger size. Do you think the smaller opening would reduce the sound significantly? If so, I'll try and get in touch with Grumpy to see is he has a set.
