cooldude next weekend on june 24th 25th and 26th. is the thunder in the valley motorcycle ralley in johnstown, pa.  would like to see how many dragons we can round up to storm the town . last year they said there were over 100,000 people there. did not see many valks.   :(sad...   any one who would like to get in on a valk march on j-town let me know.  can also do scenic tours around the mountains, flight 93 memorial ect.   repl to post or e-mail me at rckshwl@aol.com       im thinking saturday the 25th would work the best.

I attended Thunder the past two years. It was fun. It was crowded and you had to keep your wits about you for the huge crowd but it is a fun time.  cooldude

That valley has nice roads the rest of the riding season too.

Thunder in the Valley started in 1998. I have gone every year except the 1st. If the weather is nice, there will be over 200,000 bikes there. It's a good time, and the city really makes the bikers feel welcome.I may have become a little burnt out, but this year is a little off for me.  I will still go, but not looking forward to TIV as much this year.we'll see. May just ride the mountains and skip the crowds.

Me and Trap used to go back when I lived in Imperial.  Don't think I'll make it this year though.

I rode to Colorado with him in 2006.

You know, I hadn't heard from Kirk since we moved out to Arizona.  The picture above was taken a month before you guys went to Colorado.  We would have gone, but were preparing to move.

Well, inclement weather prevented me from making the trip Thursday or Friday.... but I made it today even under all the cloud cover.  Saw a few Valkyries there, and one similar to mine was in the parade.  I made my rounds and checked out a few vendors, ate like a pig and left early evening to stop by the local car show on my way home... which was lightly attended due to the clouds I suspect.

Nice trip, interesting people (as usual) and loads of bikes regardless of the weather.

Who else made it there???
