Looking for imput on a cruise control. Rostra electronic or the audiovox vacumm system. My thoughts are with no vacumm container it would be easier to hide everything.

I just installed the audiovox vacumm unit without a vacumm canister, as have many others. You just tap into two of the intake tubes. It works exactly as it should!

My audiovox works great without a cannister. I hooked into all six with vac lines. Don't know if I needed all 6, but they were there, and they weren't doing anything else, so I figured why not. Lots of mountains in Montana but I haven't had a problem. Biggest chore was finding enough check valves. Each auto store either only carried one or two so I had to make quite a few stops.
Don't know anything about the other brand but I'm guessing lots more help is available here for the audiovox since so many of us have them.

Never could get mine to work without canister. Even tried three vacuum lines together. Small can and it worker.
