In case  you didn't know or forgot, my 97 Valkyrie standard with 3500 miles is being somewhat transformed.  I recently had the original tires changed to Avons; had all the neon stuff taken off as well as the drag racing tachometer and had the original rear turn signal assembly reinstalled.  Today I put on my saddlebags which are Boss 42s (means they can hold 42 cans of beer each) and my windshield which is the switchblade mount with the Chopped windshield.

Love the bags!  Very well made.  Got em specifically cause they match the Corbin seats with the studs and all and I just like the leather look.  They're hard plastic with leather cover and are removable.  The windshield is ok but I need to get some lowers to minimize some buffeting issues which I also had with my last cruiser type ride and the lowers cleared up nicely.  Gotta fix the right turn signal wire which broke during installation of the windshield.  No big deal.

If I can get me some descent lowers this will be a good touring and around town and every day bike.  She's a peach!

Also, got 36 mpg today on my fill up which was a nice surprise but I did ride mostly on the highway to and from the mechanic last week so we'll see how that goes.

Please, what is the story on the front turn signals?  What lights are they?  If you aren't sure, does anyone else recognize them?  I need something like those because I have an interference problem with my turn signals after installing I/S pods.
You can see in the picture where I had to move the signals back so that I could raise them a bit so they won't hit the pods.  It just doesn't look right.

Steve K;
Solving your turn signal issue with those Pods is virtually hopeless...2funny   My birthday is coming up and ... err... the pods would look a lot better
on my Valk!  Roll Eyes coolsmiley I'm just saying...  Cheesy Wink

As we all know, Black Valks are faster than all others. As a safety measure, the Pods will help slowing her down!  Shocked Cheesy cooldude
