Okay...

Well as I am getting excited and counting the days (instead of weeks) to heading to Michigan I was curious who might be riding through Kansas on Sunday or Monday (7/24 and 7/25)..  I think we are heading on on either Sunday or Monday.  Not sure at the moment but was wondering if anyone wanted to meet up and ride up the Mississippi valley and over the U.P.?  I hope the waters of the Missouri and the Mississippi go down by then so we "flat lander's" can get across!

Anyhow...  Just wanted to throw the thread out to start figuring out how everyone is going and maybe meet up somewhere along the way!

That's all for now  Smiley

I ain't going this year Stude, but I sure enjoyed the ride thru the national forest when I went north through Wausau to the road that went straight across to Mariett when I was trying to catch up with you guys.  Specially seeing the bear cross the road in front of me.  Wasn't a lot of fun after it got dark on the detour, though.  Hoser  Shocked

I went to that meet once... them good old boys don't like it when someone shows up with a chopped-droped & smoothed stude. One guy told me if I was his kid he would have tanned my @ss in the wood shed for what I did that car.
Oh yea don't ever play poker... that part about me having the name "stude"... I can tell

Got a picture of the car ? I've always love the looks of the Studebaker pick-up and the bullet nose cars.

If your still planning your route and approaching from the north, may I suggest a stop at Mackinaw Island?
