I can say a Victory crashes well. On my first ride last night with my Bride a car came from a stop sign on my right and made a left turn. It was to close to get much braking in but I was able to swerve left and manage a glancing blow off the left front fender rather than a broadside. My Bride is in ICU and I have a broken foot and strained neck. If you were emailing me about a hitch it is now on the back burner for me. I will keep you posted.

Sorry to hear of the bad news!!   There's never a good time for something like this to happen, but it's especially bad when you are on your maiden drive with a new bike!!! Cry

Prayers for you and especially your bride.  Heal FAST!!

Home today, I am banged up, in a neck brace and have a broken foot, if not for my sturdy steel toe Redwing boots I think I would not have a foot. Neither of us would be here if not for helmets, even tho the crash was at slow speed. My bride did not fare as well as me, a few things on her: c4-c7 fractures (minor if that is possible) fractured wrist and the biggie for her is nerve damage in her right arm. I found out yesterday the prayers have worked, she has stretch damage to the nerves not torn nerves and with time things should come back.

Thanks for the prayers.
