Very cool video, of a 600+ HP Ford Focus, doing what is called 'Gymkhana' (a race/drift/trick type of driving)...

I might be talking up a river here, but it looked like the big long lever on his right was for putting it in and out of 4 wheel drive.

He did have some skill.

He did have some skill.   

I think the lever was parking brake...locking rear wheels to induce skid
