The Baker Air Wings I won on Ebay came in today.  The chrome looks really good and the money I saved will go to buy a set of stainless wings to replace the plexiglass shields that are on them now.  I will still have saved money after it is all said and done!  I'm a happy camper.  Only bad part is I have to teach this weekend so I will only get to try them out if the weather lets me ride the Valk to class.

They use the same bolt that your engine guard attaches to behind the radiator.

Note to Dubs....the weather ALWAYS lets you ride to class, it's YOU, that doesn't....   Cheesy Smiley cooldude Roll Eyes

Left for work in the rain today, only rained 1/2 way there, almost dry by the time I got there, at least enough not to have to change clothes. I keep a set, down to skivvies (clean, of course!!), just in case. I only worry about crippling thunderstorms as I'm leaving, I'll worry about the weather coming home, when THAT time comes...

R,
So true!  Actually, on Saturday I take several bags filled with riding gear, helmets, leathers and other colthes to show the class, as well as, a 5 gallon water jug with water and ice, there just isn't enough room on the Valk.  However, on Sunday it is my fault if I don't ride.  If it is going to be extremely hot I sometimes do not ride because I know I will be absolutely worn out from the heat and just don't trust myself to be able to stay focused on the ride home.  Getting old is not for sissies!
