I scored 93.34% (missed two), but I seemed to detect some, not necessarily correct, bias in the wording of some questions and answers.

31 out of 33.

Got the Puritans one wrong, and the Socrates, Plato, etc. one wrong.

I could see getting up to 10 wrong, but to have the national average at about 1/2 wrong is a disgrace.

And why do some want a very high percentage of people voting?????

29 of 33 but I scored a couple of lucky/semi-educated guesses. Some of the questions veer into the territory of opinion the answers to which could be argued. It starts out asking questions relating to historical statements or Constitutional hard copy and then takes a turn into economic philosophy. I'm actually somewhat suspect of the origin of the quiz.

I was somewhat in the middle with 29 right. Valks are a thinking persons bike in my opinion. Sorry to sound biased, but of course I am in this regard. No surprise for me that we scored above average. Seems like we have an above average number of technical people, amateur ballistics people, machinists, firearms instructors, etc also.

Two possibilities, or a combination of both.

A. The ones that weren't afraid to post their scores, posted.

B.  We are by nature, the "above (or WELL above) average" members of our nation. After all, look what we ride!!

I lean towards the 2nd, judging by what I see on the forums.

Personally, I mistakenly "remembered" that Roosevelt was going to eliminate the Supreme Court, not add members. So, 32 out of 33. But, I DID stay in a Holiday Inn once...that, and I have a tendency to read a tremendous amount, more than just about anyone I know, or probably any TWO people I know. I think reading is one of the best things a person can do. And, I DID give calculated guesses on a couple more.

Missed 3, so 90.91%.
One i missed was the tax question. I answered, "zero debt"  so I think I'm right.  tickedoff
The other one was on the puritans, so I don't really care.  Roll Eyes
The one I should have known was the 1st amendment.  Cry

What I found really interesting, at the end, there was another link, which compared  how the general population did on each question compared to elected officials.  The elected pollitians sucked compared to the rest of the people!!!  I don't guess i should be surprised, it just confirms what I've known for years.  Untill we change the type of people we ellect, we're screwed!

Dig a little deeper into the website. It becomes kind of obvious once you read their "mission statement" etc.

The Intercollegiate Studies Institute
Educating for liberty

Founded in 1953, ISI works "to educate for liberty"—inspiring college students to discover and embrace the principles and virtues that make America free and prosperous.

With ISI's volunteer representatives at over 1,500 colleges, and with nearly 50,000 ISI student and faculty members on virtually every campus in the country, ISI directs thousands of young people each year to a wide array of educational programs that deepen their understanding of the American ideal of ordered liberty.

ISI annually conducts over 200 educational programs around the country, including lectures, debates, student conferences, and summer schools. ISI also offers graduate fellowships for aspiring college teachers and distributes more than three million copies of ISI books, journals, and affiliated student newspapers on college and university campuses. These programs work at different levels and in different ways to nurture in the rising generation an appreciation of our nation's founding principles—limited government, individual liberty, the rule of law, a free market economy, personal responsibility, and moral norms.

ISI is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, tax-exempt educational organization. The Institute receives no funding or any other aid from any level of the government.
