I'm taking a Gen. Altimax 205/60-16in in less than an hour to get installed, I have the 55 series on now, looks like plenty of room for the 60, but just in case, where are the directions for doing the nut mod, I couldn't find them in Shop Talk, i read it someplace, but don't remember. Thanks

Do the mod while the wheel is off and either flip the bolts or put a washer and hex nut on the right side. My '60' rubbed until I did all this.  My2Cents.  B

Really?  You couldn't find "Valkyrie Fender Nut Mod"  in Shoptalk?

Just got my 60 series tire mounted, there is almost 2" from it to the nut cages, no need for any mod. I put 26 lbs of air in it,rides and handles great.

If you did not have to do the nut cage mod, your shocks are probably at their highest setting.
Notwithstanding, test it.
Get your fattest friend to ride with you as a passenger...  2funny

I hope not, but it might make those 2 inches disappear.
You might also have to increase tire pressure with lots of weight behind you.

Good luck!  cooldude

i run that same altimax.... 26 lbs. seems lite, especially on a new tire.  believe me, when you put any weight on that back end....it's going to rub.
