Is this the board where we share our love of riding the Valk? Had a great ride with good friends.

I liked the hat but I couldn't keep it on rolling down the road and it wouldn't fit in the saddle bag. Come on down when it cools off and we'll go ride the hills and eat some bbq. Yes Big Al, there are some curves in Texas, you just have to find them. Don't let Dallas and Houston fool you. There are some beautiful roads in Texas  cooldude

Sounds like a seriously grand idea, Pat!!! I do like the 'Q' out yonder, and the TexMex is mighty fine, as well... And of course anybody who's ever ridden the Hill Country can't help but enjoy that too. Add to the mix some terrific riding companions, who just happen to also be world-class partiers, and, well... ya end up with the perfect ingredients fer testin' the limits (and perhaps pushing out the boundaries) of human tolerance fer havin' a good time!!! I'm in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Late September is fine with me, as suggested by Bandit and FB, but October is too - except for the Fall Color ride weekend... (Napper has already issued orders fer that'n, ya see.) We could also swing by Luckenbach and see if that hat is till there... Heck, we might even talk 'em into shippin' that thang to yer house fer ya! Man, I'm likin' the sound of all this!!!

Hey Pat, What are you thinking by posting a non-political or non-religious thread on this board?  Thought I knew you better than that!  Sorry, couldn't resist.  Glad you had a great ride. Larry

Langtry is a neat place but is probably the most desolate town in Texas....have stopped there manytimes on the way to Big Bend National Park

Yes it is a very desolate place......

But being a fan of Judge Roy Bean I had to check out the Jersey Lilly.............

That part of Texas has a beauty about it that can only come from desolation...........
