Bought my bike less than 2k on Metzler 880's  just about to the wear marks on the rear.not even 7k miles. Could probably squeeze another 2 k out of them  Going on a 2500 mi road trip don't feel real secure with the wear marks.  Front still has plenty.  Any one tried the g850r Bridgestone/  can get it for $136 free shipping.

Thanks,

I have had one, handled well, no more mileage than most others.  Good price, though.  I have gone to bias tires, Dunlop American elite 180/65B/16 and Dunlop D404F 150/70B/16.  They have lasted longest of the many tires I have used.  Hoser

The GS850 is an oem tire for a goldwing or VTX I think.  They work quite well for a valk.  Hoser
