Anybody found some kind of foldable chair that could
fit inside a Tourer saddlebag.

Need something to sit me down when on the road.

Can't do a trailer right now.

If I absolutely had to carry a chair on a road trip I believe I would consider an inflatable.

Actually I just saw what amounts to a foldable low stool that would fit in a saddlebag. It was a Wally World and called a "pocket chair" or some such thing. You kind find it in the SOUS (Snuggies and Other Useless crap) section.

I have a nice folding chair that will fit strapped across the saddlebags and will hold my 260lb ass without snapping like a twig.

I use this one (very similar or exactly the same as the mentioned one) because I could order it in different heights to fit me. http://www.duluthtrading.com/store/product/walkstool-comfort-22-inches-92254.aspx?kw=stool&processor=content

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

I got 2 little tripod stool looking chairs from the Dollar General store a few years ago. Even a carry pouch. Should fit right in the bag. It was $5 or so. Be good for occasional use but after awhile it makes you butt sore. Guess it depends on how long you wanna sit. A normal fold up chair dont add to much wait for on the road. Lay it on the bottom of your rack and stack on top of it. Or sling it off the side of you luggage. Havent used them in awhile, now we get there early and steal picnic tables from the RV spots. They got a table anyway.  Undecided

Wizard bought one at one of the stores in Bellaire, MI, while we were at Inzane last year.  I sent him back to get one for me!

And it is supposed to be sturdy enough to support my not-so-light weight!  I doubt the $2 version would hold up under the strain (pun intended)

Ordered two of those pocket chair thingies the other day.  Red wanted one where she works - she gets to take a break outside and someone took the milk crate she was using.

I will let you know how it works when they get here.

We are clearing out (trashing) some of the things we have accumulated.  That way we don't have to move 1/2 our junk once we close on a home in Charlotte.
I have 5 or 6 milk crates I have used since 3rd grade as storage, bed frame, moving boxes.  My wife asked if I was gonna throw them away!  Yeah I gave her a stare!  Like the army duffle bag I got back in 69 or 70 for scouts.  cursed if I am going to get rid of it either. Probably pack it tight and use it for main clothes storage on my trip out to Charlotte.

Why in the saddle bag? Most bagged camping folding camping chairs would strap to the luggage rack.
